Huvitz, a healthcare medical device company, established its Daegu branch on November 29 to strengthen its sales operations in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
The opening ceremony was attended by approximately 20 distinguished guests, including CEO Kim Hyun-soo of Huvitz, Executive Director Kim Jong-jun, Lee Seok-won, Senior Vice Chairman of the Daegu Optical Society, Professor Jeong Ji-won of Suseong University, Professor Seo Jae-myung of Masan University, and others, who celebrated the opening of the new branch.
Located in the Buk-gu Distribution Complex of Daegu, Huvitz’s Daegu branch spans 50 pyeong (approximately 165 square meters) and features a product exhibition area, consultation rooms, and space for customers to experience the products firsthand. Additionally, the branch has a seminar room dedicated to optician learning and training. Customers can check and try out key products like refractor instruments, lens edgers, and lensmeters before making purchases. The space is designed to support the learning and growth of opticians as well. Specifically, the seminar room is available for opticians to use for small-scale training, including visual function tests, between 9 PM and 12 AM after their working hours, at no charge.
The company stated that the Daegu branch enhances convenience for customers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, enabling them to experience Huvitz products and services in a more personalized and accessible way.
In his speech, CEO Kim Hyun-soo said, “Daegu is the mecca of the optical industry in Korea. Huvitz will do its best to contribute to the development of the Daegu optical industry and grow alongside opticians.”
The Daegu branch is Huvitz’s second domestic branch, following the successful establishment of the Daejeon branch in June 2019. Based on the positive experience and customer satisfaction from the Daejeon branch, the decision was made to establish the Daegu branch. Daegu and Gyeongbuk are strategically important regions, accounting for a significant portion of Huvitz’s domestic sales. With the new branch, the company aims to offer more accessible and direct services to opticians in these regions, who previously had limited access through dealerships.
To celebrate the opening of the Daegu branch, Huvitz has prepared various promotional programs to maximize customer value in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. Customers who purchase a refractor instrument set or premium processing machine will receive up to 2 million KRW in benefits, including a free Smart Blocker with the purchase of the HPE-910 processing machine and an automatic lensmeter with the purchase of any refractor instrument set. Additionally, customers who sign up for a consultation will receive an A/S coupon worth 100,000 KRW.
