Precise examination of refractive errors
The micro lens array, independently developed by Huvitz, consists of hundreds of small lenses, providing a wealth of data points for precise diagnosis of refractive errors. The HRK-9000A meticulously analyzes even the minutest details of light aberrations, enabling precise observation of pre- and post-refractive surgery conditions and essential analysis of higher-order aberrations for customized lens prescriptions.
The subjective visual acuity (VA) test
The subjective visual acuity (VA) test finds the best corrective vision through patient communication. It confirms vision based on patient responses, making it useful for determining the need for near-vision correction after distance vision correction. Comparing subjective and objective VA tests yields more reliable and accurate data.
Equipped with TFBUT measurement and a Meibography function
The HRK-9000A features TFBUT measurement and a Meibography function, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of patients' vision. Through TFBUT (Tear Film Break-Up Time) measurement, you can diagnose tear film condition and dry eye syndrome, while the Meibography function enables the observation of meibomian gland changes.

Detailed eye health analysis through IOL, RET-ILLUM Mode, and Color View Mode
The HRK-9000A uses a separate measurement method for intraocular lens (IOL) or cataract assessment. It allows for the observation of eye health conditions such as lenticular opacity in cataract patients or corneal injury caused by contact lens wear. The full-color CCD camera and white LED light source in the auto ref-keratometer enable the assessment of contact lens fitting status, a feature previously only possible with slit lamps.

FAQ
Q. What kind of product is the HRK-9000A?
A. The HRK-9000A is a high-end auto refractor that precisely analyzes refractive power and corneal conditions based on Wavefront technology.
In addition to refraction testing, it provides a wide range of diagnostic functions, including TFBUT, meibography, and retro-illumination modes, enabling comprehensive examinations—from vision assessment to early evaluation of dry eye disease and cataracts—in a single device.
Q. What are the main examination functions provided by the HRK-9000A?
A. The HRK-9000A applies Wavefront Technology to perform highly precise analysis of refractive errors and allows rapid evaluation of individual visual status through subjective visual acuity (VA) testing. It is also equipped with TFBUT measurement and meibography functions, providing baseline data for tear film assessment and dry eye diagnosis. In addition, retro-illumination mode, and color view mode enable multifaceted analysis of overall eye health.
Q. What is the Wavefront Technology used in the HRK-9000A?
A. The Wavefront Technology of the HRK-9000A analyzes refractive power in detail by dividing the wavefront of light reflected from the retina and exiting through the cornea into multiple measurement points. This method enables accurate measurement of higher-order aberrations that are difficult to detect with conventional refraction tests, providing highly valuable data for pre- and post-refractive surgery evaluation and customized lens prescriptions.
Q. What is the role of the Color View Mode in the HRK-9000A?
A. The Color View Mode of the HRK-9000A uses a color CCD camera and white LED illumination to clearly visualize the anterior segment of the eye. This feature allows observation of corneal and conjunctival conditions and can be applied in various clinical situations, including contact lens fitting and prescription, helping to achieve a more precise evaluation of overall eye health.
Q. Who is the HRK-9000A suitable for?
A. The HRK-9000A is a high-end auto refractor suitable for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists. For opticians and optometrists, its Wavefront-based precise refraction, data for customized lens prescriptions, and subjective VA testing provide strong advantages for accurately analyzing visual conditions and delivering personalized prescriptions. In ophthalmology clinics and specialized hospitals, it supports broader diagnostic applications through baseline evaluation of the tear film, meibomian glands, and anterior segment using TFBUT, meibography, and retro-illumination, and color view modes.
